Nelson & Co is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business dedicated to delivering a world-class shopping experience to First Responders-online and in-person.
Our role was to do a revamp of the whole website including the design, aesthetics and development making sure that there was minimal downtime and best shopping experience to their customers.
Client approached us with the need to redesign and develop their old website. The old website was not that attractive and it was not mobile-friendly. We discussed this and started working on the new design. This being an e-commerce website, the ease of shopping for their customers was the main challenge.
A complete project development life cycle was followed. We decided to go with Magento 2.X as the development platform. The major challenge was to handle their more than 100 thousand products with no compromise in the performance of the website. Real-time data integration with their CRM system. There were a lot of custom development and challenging requirements to be achieved, out of which the main challenge was to develop a whole new agency portal.
